This PTCB exam prep course teaches two of the most important roles of a pharmacist: Safety and Accuracy. It covers quality assurance, safety measures, prescription filling techniques, parts of the rx and label and ways to prevent errors. It also discusses drug recalls, third party adjudication, DAW codes and how they interact in a value based system. Fraud, waste and abuse are reviewed, along with reference materials for completing the QA procedure. It concludes with definitions, abbreviations and some PTCB practice exam questions to help you review.
This course is eligible for 1 Continuing Education (CE) Credit Hours upon completion of the course assessment with a score of at least 70%.
